Another Habitual Criminal Goes Down Hard

A man convicted on drug trafficking and home invasion charges has been sentenced as an habitual offender to a term of 25 years in prison. 38 year old Lucas Barnett Brady of Reno must serve a minimum of 10 years before parole eligibility begins. Brady had 8 prior felony convictions that were the basis of the Washoe County District Attorneys Office filing notice of intent to seek habitual criminal status for sentencing purposes. Among Brady’s convictions were charges of burglary, fraud, felony eluding, assault with a deadly weapon, and drug offenses.
