Law Enforcement on Alert After Three Attempted Child Abductions in Two Weeks

Law enforcement is on alert, and parents on edge after three reports of attempted child abductions in the past two weeks. The latest was Monday in the area of Silver Knolls Boulevard near Red Rock Road north of Stead. A 13 year old boy said a man..driving a red Subaru Baja with a license plate containing the partial number of “33”…tried to coax him into his car. The man is described as a white male with dark brown hair with silver streaks and a beard. That incident follows another on Saturday the 14th at a soccer game at Moana Park. A man reportedly took a two year old girl’s hand and tried to walk her out of the park. Her father confronted him and he ran away. His description, 5-10 to 6 feet, brown and gray hair. Two days earlier a man allegedly tried to abduct an 8 year old girl in front of a home on Kinglet Drive, east of West Calle De La Plata in Spanish Springs.
