A vacant lot in Reno may soon be getting some new housing. Wednesday, the Reno city council voted unanimously on an agreement with the Community Foundation of Western Nevada to create affordable dorm style housing. The proposed project on Sage St. looks to bring 200 housing units that will consist of individual rooms, co-ed bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and an outdoor activity area for $390 a month.  The project still needs another vote from the council before it’s finalized.
