Reno Police arrested a man Saturday afternoon who snatched a woman’s purse near the Reno Arch.

Around 3 p.m. April 28, officers were hailed by people who were chasing the man in the 200 block of Lake Street.

Police detained 18-year-old Hennessey Hunt, identified by the victim and several witnesses as the robber.

The victim’s purse was recovered. Hunt was arrested for Robbery and Possession of a Dangerous Drug without a Prescription.
