Washoe County Launches New Service

Washoe County has launched Washoe311, a non-emergency, centralized customer service center. Staffed with live employees, Washoe311 is designed to provide the public with answers about county services. Nancy Leuenhagen, Washoe County Communications Director says, “This is the next evolution of communicating with our citizens and connecting them to the services they need.” Besides providing information about services, residents can report problems such as graffiti or potholes. Washoe311 is staffed Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and has an answering service for after-hours calls.
