Reno Police are investigating a drive-by shooting near East 9th & Montello Street just after 9 o’clock last night. Police say there were no injuries, but an apartment building and some nearby vehicles were hit by the gunfire. The Regional Gang Unit is assisting in the investigation. This shooting is unrelated to another “shots fired” situation in the same area Wednesday morning. In that shooting two people were injured and have been released from the hospital. Police say that shooting was accidental.
