Sparks Police arrested a man after he allegedly stabbed someone in west Sparks. 32-year-old Rogelio Reyes, was booked on a felony count of battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm. Police said they received a report of a stabbing in the 1800 block of El Rancho Drive at about 5 a.m. Saturday. The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police don’t believe the incident was gang-related. Police are looking for witnesses, anyone with information is asked to contact the Sparks Police Department or Secret Witness: 322-4900.
