A team of middle school Mathletes® from Nevada won the eighth place at MATHCOUNTS® National Competition this week. This is the first year that Nevada has placed in the top ten nationally. Nevada won the Most Improved award in 2014 and 2015. There were 56 teams and 224 individuals at the national competition. Nevada’s top individuals include Vishwath Ganesan and Sophie Liu from Davidson Academy in Reno.
