One person was extracted from their vehicle Sunday due to a rollover crash at the intersection of Vassar Street and Terminal Way., according to Reno Police Department.

The accident occurred about at 11 a.m. and police say the crash was stemmed by road rage on a nearby freeway; two cars were pursuing one another when a black SUV ran a red light at the intersection, striking a white passenger car.

Officials say the white car was not involved in the road rage incident and two females were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the driver of the SUV had three children in the back seat and was arrested on scene for child endangerment and wreckless driving.

Both directions of traffic at the intersection will be blocked until further notice.
