Overnight lane closures will take place this week on U.S. 395 near Golden Valley Road in the North Valleys for bridge surface improvements. U.S. 395 will be reduced to a single lane in each direction at Golden Valley Road through June 2nd from approximately 8 pm to 5:30 am nightly. Crews will resurface areas of the U.S. 395 bridge over Golden Valley Road for safer and smoother highway travel. The road work is scheduled for overnight hours to avoid impacting heavy evening commute traffic. The bridge resurfacing was originally scheduled to take place in early May, but was postponed due to rain. NDOT’s dedicated bridge inspection and rehabilitation program has helped Nevada bridges to be named the nation’s best for five consecutive years.
