Sparks Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday morning at the Sparks Marina.

Police say they located a male victim of a gunshot wound and provided medical aid until medics arrived on scene, and was transported to a local hospital treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police also determined the victim was shot following a physical fight.
