Storey County crews with assistance from Truckee Meadows Fire Protection and Sparks Fire are on scene of a wildfire that broke out around 7:15 last night. The Powerline Fire has burned at least 80 acres of sage and grass south of Lockwood. Crews say they have stopped forward progression. Authorities say the fire is slow moving and not threatening any structures. Crews spent the night mopping up hot spots.
