Reno Man Sentenced on Child Pornography Charges

A Reno man who used “KIK Messenger” to view more than 2,000 images and videos of child pornography has been sentenced to five years in federal prison, and 20 years of supervised release.  21-year-old Ian Michael Ramsey pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography. In addition to the prison term, he will be required to register as a sex offender. According to court documents, Ramsey admitted he chatted online with others who looked at child pornography and would often suggest engaging in child trafficking and discussed meeting in Las Vegas to potentially abuse children.
