The Reno Police Department is investigating a bicycle versus vehicle crash near Apache Rose Court and Box Canyon Drive on Tuesday afternoon. An 8-year-old girl was riding her bike along the sidewalk, when she turned into the street. She was hit by a UPS truck and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver is cooperating with the investigation. Police say that speed nor impairment were factors in this accident. There were no charges pressed against the driver.
