Fatal Shooting Under Investigation in Sparks

One man was killed early Sunday and the Sparks Police Department says the roommate who shot him is cooperation with their investigation. The shooting happened just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday on 11th Street between Rock Boulevard and Pyramid Way. Police found a 31-year-old man who had been shot and was unconscious. Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene. The 26-year-old man who shot him was at the scene and was released after being interviewed. Police are calling the case a homicide. They say both men lived at the same home and they argued before the shooting. The incident is not gang-related and names are not being released.
