The Douglas County Sheriff’s office is investigating the discovery of a woman’s body in a field in the Gardnerville Ranchos. The body of 56 year old Charlene Heaphy of Dresslerville was found around noon July 4th on Dresslerville Road, between Muir Drive and Riverview Drive.
According to investigators, the body had been in the field for seven to ten days.
