Overnight Ramp Closures Begin Tuesday on U.S. 395, Interstate 80

Beginning Tuesday, drivers will see periodic overnight freeway ramp closures as the Nevada Department of Transportation repaves three interstate ramps. Approximately three inches of pavement will be removed and repaved for a smoother and safer drive at the following freeway ramps: Northbound U.S. 395 off-ramp to Stead Boulevard and Stead Boulevard on-ramp to southbound U.S. 395. There will be periodic overnight ramp closures between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. July 10 through July 31. Eastbound I-80 off-ramps to East Fourth Street Ramp are scheduled to close July 18 and July 24 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Various I-80 ramps to Mustang Road will see patching of select ramp surfaces and replacement of cattle guards, with periodic overnight ramp closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. July 11 through July 31. Only one Mustang-area ramp will be closed at a time. Signage will be placed before the start of each specific ramp closure to advise motorists of upcoming ramp closures. Detour routes will be noted.
