A blaze that killed a firefighter at Yosemite is the source of the smoke hanging over the Reno area. The firefighter was killed while driving a bulldozer, trying to create a gap in vegetation to protect a nearby community. The fire has blocked one of the entrance roads to the national park from the west side. Highway 140 was closed over the weekend.
