Truckee Man Arrested After Allegedly Burning an American Flag

A Truckee man was arrested on an arson charge after allegedly burning a store’s U.S. flag. 27-year-old Joshua Everett Lozon was booked Saturday morning on suspicion of committing arson. Glenshire Store owner Sheri Daniels said she arrived at her Truckee store Saturday morning to find the flag burned. With police, she reviewed security camera footage. Truckee police then arrested Lozon. The Truckee Police Department says a U.S. Army veteran has donated a flag to replace the damaged one. Police will give the burned flag to the Tahoe Truckee Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol to be properly retired.
