A proposed indoor events center in Stateline will cost around $80 million. That’s according to the Tahoe Douglas Visitors Authority, more money than was originally planned for the center. The center would provide an meeting space during the fall, winter, and early spring, with at least 90 different events in just the first year its open. That would go up to around 130 events after being open for five years. An environmental review is expected sometime this month, with a hearing before the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency by the end of the year.
