Convicted Stalker Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison

A man convicted of stalking has been sentenced to ten years in prison. 37 year old Lloyd Dylan Jones, of Placerville, stalked and threatened three employees of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, despite a restraining order issued by a judge. In addition to being prohibited from contacting the victims, he was also prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.
During the service of a search warrant at his residence, detectives found numerous firearms, including two illegal assault rifles, two ballistic vests and an estimated 6,000 rounds of ammunition. In June, Jones was convicted by a jury on numerous counts of stalking, criminal threats, disobeying a court order, and weapons violations.
