The Truckee Police Department rescued two San Jose men from Donner Lake Saturday afternoon. The men, ages 26 and 35, were stranded on a rock about 100 yards off shore at Donner Lake Memorial State park and yelling for help. The men swam to the rock and one man had a minor leg injury that prevented him from swimming back to shore. Truckee police reminded people to use caution on the water when winds are strong.
