The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on State Route 341, the Geiger Grade, between Reno and Virginia City. The crash was reported shortly before noon Tuesday at 3000 Geiger Grade Road, north of the Geiger Lookout. Trooper Matt McLaughlin says there is one confirmed death. There is no word yet on other possible injuries or whether more than one vehicle is involved.
