The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect for carjacking a woman who was leaving Burning Man. Investigators say about 4PM Tuesday, the victim reported a man had just stolen her car at knifepoint, just outside the Burning Man entrance. She stopped to help the man by the side of the road. She said that man then used a knife to threaten her and another man, and stole her car. The suspect reportedly kicked and beat on a police dog as deputies worked to get him into custody, and arrested him after a short struggle. 32-year-old Tiago Gomez of West Hollywood, is being held on a variety of charges.
