Evelyn Mount’s Community Outreach food giveaway program says the program is ending January 1st, after 42 years of operation. According to a news release, people are being asked to NOT donate food or money, the statement says, “We have enough to continue through the 2018 holidays. We wish to thank the community for many years of support.” Mount is well-known throughout the Truckee Meadows for collecting food at her home and donating to people who need help.
