The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County is reminding drivers that there’s a number of temporary parking spots in Midtown during construction of the Virginia Street Bus RAPID Transit Extension Project, in case you wanted to do some shopping or go out to eat. There’s 36 spaces behind the Ponderosa Hotel, 85 more in the construction zone, and a number of temporary ones between Thoma Street and Moran Street, between Vassar Street and Arroyo Street, and between Pueblo Street and Mt.
