City of Fallon Hosting a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Today

The City of Fallon is hosting a ceremony to remember the victims in the 9-11 tragedy, and they hope you can be a part of it. Governor Brian Sandoval is just one of the dignitaries scheduled to speak at the event today. Kaitlyn Ritchie with the city of Fallon says thanks to the efforts of their Mayor, the city acquired an I-beam from the disaster at World Trade Center, that now sits as the centerpiece of their memorial.

The ceremony is being held at 55 West Williams Avenue, and starts at 2pm. They’ll have flowers you can place on the memorial at the ceremony, or you’re welcome to bring your own.
