Search For Missing Woman Suspended, No Signs of Madelyn Lingenfelter

The search has been suspended for a missing woman whose car was found along the Mount Rose Highway.
Reno Police say 19-year-old Madelyn Lingenfelter was reported missing September 19th. That afternoon, a manager at the Tannenbaum event center along the highway saw her car, without knowing about the missing person case. That manager saw a person, now believed to be Lingenfelter, in the car’s passenger seat at that time, but when the manager stepped back outside a few hours later, the car appeared to be empty. When deputies were called to the car September 21 by her family, which had pinged her cell phone to that area, they said it had apparently been parked there since the Wednesday sighting. Lingenfelter is 5’1 and 110 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.
