Ahead of the one year anniversary of the mass shooting that occurred on October 1st, 2017 at the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution introduced by U.S. Senators Dean Heller and Catherine Cortez Masto to honor the memory of the 58 individuals who lost their lives, recognize the hundreds who were injured, and offer support to those who continue down the long road toward physical and emotional recovery. Heller and Cortez Masto also paid tribute to local law enforcement, the emergency responders, and the medical staff that bravely responded to the attack and who are responsible for saving many lives on that horrific night.
