Officers arrested a man for burglary and grand larceny after stealing a work truck on Saturday.

Police responded to a burglary alarm at approximately 4 p.m. in the 1000 block of Standard St. Officers arrived to find a large truck leaving the area which belonged to the business where the alarm was coming from.

The truck was pursued and stopped in the area of Lemmon Dr. and N. Virginia St. where officers arrested the driver. During the investigation it was discovered that the truck, which was stolen during the burglary, was driven through the closed roll up door causing felony amount of damage to the property.

40-year-old James Carroll is being charged with Burglary/Grand Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Felony Destruction of Property, and other traffic charges.
