The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District plans to host open houses at four fire stations October 13. The public can meet and talk with the firefighter crews at each station.

The Open Houses will take place on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the following locations:

TMFPD Station #17, 500 Rockwell Blvd, Spanish Springs

TMFPD Station #15, 110 Quartz Lane, Sun Valley

TMFPD Station #14, 470 Foothill Road, Reno

TMFPD Station #35, 10201 W. 4th Street, Mogul

Participants will be eligible for a drawing for one of 20 Emergency “Go Bags” equipped with emergency and survival items.
