After the worst mass shooting in history, Caesar’s Entertainment in Las Vegas has stepped up security. They’ve created an armed emergency response team made up of former military and police officers. MGM Resorts owns Mandalay Bay the scene of the “1 October” shooting that took 58 lives, and left hundreds wounded. Caesars Jennifer Forkish tells the Las Vegas Review Journal this provides a stronger and more visible security presence, and a rapid armed response if necessary.
