The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office used police dogs to arrest a man in Sun Valley after a three-hour standoff yesterday. 46-year-old Christopher Perry was arrested after refusing to come out of a trailer in a back yard near Slope Drive and 4th Avenue. Deputies from the sheriff’s office were there to arrest Perry on a warrant. After about three hours of negotiations, deputies sent in police dogs, Perry then surrendered. He was booked into the Washoe County jail on charges that included domestic battery with a prior felony conviction, contempt of court, trespassing, illegally entering a property and obstructing and resisting with the use of a deadly weapon.
