The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man near the Chichester housing development. Deputies discovered the man’s vehicle around 7am Monday after family filed a missing person’s report Sunday night. The unidentified man’s body was found shortly after the vehicle in the field behind Carson Valley Middle School.
