Four suspects are under arrest following an attempted burglary at Traner Middle School early Monday. Reno Police say they responded to an alarm at the school just after 12:30am. When they got there, they saw four people on the school’s property. The suspects tried to run away, but were all apprehended. Police say the investigation indicated the group was planning to break into the school and steal computers. Several classroom windows were broken, causing more than $1,000 in damage. Police identify the suspects as 20-year-old Tahja Blocker, 18-year-old Michael Chaffin and two boys. All face charges of conspiracy and attempt to commit burglary, destruction of property, obstructing and resisting, and trespassing.
