Inmate Walks Away From Eastern Nevada Conservation Camp

A 25-year-old man sentenced in Reno to 40 months to 100 months for robbery, walked away from an eastern Nevada conservation camp. Gregg McGruder arrived in prison on July 3rd and was transferred to the Ely Conservation Camp south of Ely on October 15th. He walked away from the camp about 10:25 a.m. Wednesday. He is described as 6 feet tall, 176 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. He may have a beard and has wings tattooed on his back, a dragon on his right shoulder and a scar on the top of his right wrist. Anyone who sees McGruder or knows of his location is asked to call 911.
