This years Nevada Day Parade is Saturday October 27th. Nevada Day celebrates the admission to the union, and is the most celebrated statehood event in the country. The parade is from 10 am to 2 pm in Carson City, and there are numerous other family friendly events, including a hot air balloon launch, free admission at the Nevada State and Train Museums, a military flyover, the 42nd annual World Championship Single Jack Drill Contest, and the Nevada Day Beard Contest.
