Reno Hosting First Halloween Harvest Festival Wednesday

The City of Reno will host the inaugural Halloween Harvest Festival event on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Idlewild Park in Reno. The new family-friendly event will feature: Spooky Train Rides. Train rides are $2 each, or free with a donation of two cans of non perishable food for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Candy donated by Kimmie Candy. Midway games sponsored by AT&T,  Immunize Nevada, Nevada Wolf Shop, Nevada Museum of Art, Truckee Meadows Community College and other local businesses and organizations. Prizes sponsored by AT&T. Children can bring a decorated pumpkin to win a prize. Dancing, snacks and costume contest will be in Idlewild Park’s California Building.
