Reno Police say a man suspected of shooting his roommate to death Sunday has been arrested in California. Police responded a report of a shooting in the 1300 block of Grand Summit Drive. They found 56-year-old Eric Bobele with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say their investigation indicates Bobele was shot by a roommate, 56-year-old Kenneth Davis, who then drove off in Bobele’s car. They got the information to nearby agencies, which resulted in the California Highway Patrol finding Davis near Colfax. CHP arrested him for possession of a stolen vehicle and weapons charges. Detectives went to California and interviewed Davis, and found what they believe to be the gun used in the killing. Detectives are working on obtaining an arrest warrant for local charges.
