The Washoe County Commission agreed to move forward with a future Affordable Housing Trust Fund. The preliminary discussion was led by Assistant County Manager Kate Thomas, with the consensus that Washoe County must address the growing need. Commissioner Bob Lucey says the cities, and even surrounding counties need to participate.

Yet to be determined is how the “Trust Fund”will be funded, who will administer the fund and what or who the fund will support.
