The Boy Scouts Want to Sell You a Christmas Tree

The Christmas season is a key fundraising time for Boy Scout Troops which pay for their year’s expenses by selling Christmas trees. In Reno, Boy Scout Troop 443 has moved its lot this year from Spanish Springs down to the Moana Nursery at 3397 Pyramid.  Troops 15 and 35 together are working a tree lot at the Moana Nursery on 1100 W. Moana Lane. Troop 107 is selling Christmas trees at Shoppers Square in Reno. For these troops and many others, selling Christmas trees is a tradition that goes back decades.
