Carson City Sheriff’s Office Detectives and Special Enforcement Team have arrested several people connected to an ongoing investigation for kidnapping and robbery. According to the Sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a report of a battery with a deadly weapon call last Sunday around 2 am near the water tower area of Goni Road. Deputies took a report on the incident and Detectives continued the investigation. That investigation revealed the victim of the battery was also a victim of a robbery. Detectives then identified Michael Segna and Mauricio Gomez as the suspects. Deputies found Michael Segna Tuesday near the water tower in Voltaire Canyon of Carson City. He was arrested on multiple warrants. Further investigation revealed a woman with Segna during the arrest was being held against her will. Wednesday, a search warrant was issued for a tattoo shop on East William Street. Mauricio Gomez was found at that location along with the owner of the Tattoo business, Christopher Powell. Powell was arrested after the search of the business was completed, according to Carson City Sheriff’s Office. Another search warrant was served on the 600 block of Hot Springs yesterday. Richard Rios was arrested.
