The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a woman found dead in a south Reno field, as that of a woman who had been reported missing. Reno Police say 36-year-old Kelly Trethan had walked from her home November 16th, and was last reported seen in the area of Terabyte Drive. Police said at the time she was despondent and may be in need of medical assistance. Trethan’s body was found November 7, the day after a Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team was asked by police to search a field in the area of Double Diamond and Terabyte.
No cause of death has been determined.
