Nevada will become a female majority legislature after all. Thanks to the appointment of Rochelle Nguyen  to the seat of former assemblyman Chris Brooks and Beatrice Duran’s appointment to replace Olivia Diaz, who’s running for another office,  females will hold 23 of 42 assembly seats and nine in the 21 member senate. So that’s 32 women out of 63 legislative seats.
