Feds Pushing Their Way in on Sports Betting

Now that the door has been opened for sports betting across the country, you can expect the federal government to jump in and regulate that growing market. A bill introduced this week by Senators Charles Schumer of New York, and Orrin Hatch of Utah would set minimum standards states must meet to offer sports betting, but does not contain “Integrity fees” the sparks leagues have been asking for, that’s basically a cut of the take.
