November gaming numbers were strong again, with double-digit percentage increases in “Gaming win,” on the Las Vegas Strip and in Reno and South Lake Tahoe. The Nevada Gaming Control Board reports that casinos statewide won a little more than $967 million from gamblers last month, up 6.4 percent from $909 million in November 2017. Month-to-month though, November’s “gaming win” figure was down about 9 percent from $1.063 billion in October. The first five months of the fiscal year, July-through-November, casino gambling winnings increased 1.3 percent compared with last year.
