A Carson City man who originally told deputies he’d been shot in the abdomen Wednesday night, by a man wearing dark clothing and a hoodie, finally fessed up. He admitted his .22 caliber gunshot wound was self inflicted. That original report had deputies and NHP trooper questioning possible suspects, until the man admitted he’d shot himself. He’s hospitalized and his condition is not known.
