The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting on southbound I-580 near the College Parkway exit. The Sheriff’s Office says a red Ford Focus was struck by at least 4 bullets just before 11 p.m. A 27-year-old man was shot once in the hip. We has taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Deputies are searching for the shooter, who they say was in either a black Lexus or a Chrysler 300.
