You’re invited to the 2019 Veterans Legislative Summit in Reno Saturday. The Veterans Summit is conducted by the Nevada Department of Veterans Services in partnership with the United Veterans Legislative Council. The UVLC helps bring together state and national veterans organizations, as well as individual veteran supporters and serves as a “voice” for the veterans community in Nevada. This event happens every other year when the Nevada Legislature is in session, with one summit held in southern Nevada and the other held in the northern part of the state. The Summit will be held Saturday, at the Washoe Senior Center, 1155 East 9th Street. Coffee and networking begin at 8:15 AM. The Summit runs from 9:00 AM through 11:30 AM.
