Single lane closures will take place this week on Alternate U.S. 50 in Silver Springs as part of Nevada Department of Transportation highway improvements. Alternate U.S. 50 (also known as Alternate U.S. 95) just north of the U.S. 50 intersection in Silver Springs will be reduced to a single lane Jan. 23-25th between 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Drivers should expect minor travel delays as traffic flaggers direct vehicle traffic through the single lane closure. Motorists will continue to see brief, intermittent single lane closures on Alternate U.S. 50 in the coming months.
